Moving the store to Magento Open Source – step by step
ANALYSIS OF EXISTING STORE
In this phase, we analyze the entire source code of the existing store. We also discuss the most important functionalities of the store for our client. At this stage, we assess all existing integrations and modules to find out if they will be needed on Magento Open Source.
The next stage is to collect all existing web addresses on the store (products, categories, CMS pages) to plan a list of redirects. This is crucial during the migration so as not to lose the store’s position on Google.
